The writing and drawing mechanism of this mechanical pencil is made in Germany. Just twist the button to release the lead. When the twist button is released, the gripper closes again and holds the lead in place. Inside the Drehgriffel Nr. 2, a chamber holds several leads and pushes the next one down when the current lead is used up.
